This policy explains what information OTTWala (https://ottwala.com), operated by OTTWala, India, collects when you use the website and how it is used. You can use OTTWala without creating an account.

Ratings. When you rate a title, we store a random identifier in a cookie on your browser so that you can change your rating later, and we save the rating together with a one-way hashed (not readable) form of your IP address to prevent spam. We do not store your IP address itself.

Contact form. When you send a message, we store your name, email address, subject, message and an optional page link, so that we can reply and fix reported problems.

Clicks to streaming platforms. When you click a "watch" button, we count the click for that title and platform. This count is not linked to you personally.

Technical data. Like most websites, our servers and our network provider, Cloudflare, process technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to deliver the website, keep it secure and understand overall usage.

How long we keep information

Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to handle the request and then deleted. Ratings are kept while the title is listed on OTTWala. Backups are kept for a limited period.
